The Red Level Beautification Club met Monday, March 14, at the Town Hall. Janice Castleberry, Dorothy West, and other members attended the regular monthly meeting. Mayor Purnell attended the meeting to lend the group support from the Town Council. This new link (web page) will carry current news and announcements from and for club participants. One of the topics discussed at the meeting was replanting the trees which need replacing. The Alabama League of Municipalities just published information concerning "forest restoration for...storm ravaged communities" which has been released by the U.S. Forest Service.
